What These Terms Cover
These Terms of Service apply to your use of the ProRestoration Services Inc. website at prorestorationca.com and to any service relationship initiated through it. Service Area and Availability
ProRestoration Services Inc. operates within California. While we serve the greater Bakersfield area and surrounding communities, we cannot guarantee availability in every location at all times. Contacting us is the fastest way to confirm whether we can reach your property.
Estimates Are Not Contracts
Any estimate, quote, or scope of work we provide — whether delivered by phone, email, or in person — is an assessment based on visible conditions at the time of inspection. It is not a binding agreement. Work does not begin and no contractual obligation exists on either side until a written work-authorization form has been signed by both parties. That signed document governs the scope, cost, and timeline of your project. If site conditions change after work begins (for example, hidden moisture damage discovered behind a wall), we will communicate any scope adjustments before proceeding.
Payment Terms
Payment terms, accepted methods, and any deposit requirements are outlined in your signed work-authorization agreement. We work with most major insurance carriers and can coordinate billing directly when you provide written authorization to do so. Any portion not covered by insurance — your deductible, for instance, or items outside your policy’s coverage — remains the responsibility of the property owner. We do not accept responsibility for coverage decisions made by your insurer.
Liability and Licensing
ProRestoration Services Inc. operates as a licensed contractor under California state regulations. Our liability is limited to the scope of work described in your signed work-authorization form and does not extend to pre-existing conditions, damage caused by delayed reporting of a loss, or circumstances outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms limits rights you may hold under California law.
Insurance Coordination
When you authorize us to communicate with your insurance carrier, we act as a facilitating party — documenting the loss, providing photo evidence, and submitting required paperwork. We do not act as your public adjuster or legal representative, and we make no guarantees about claim outcomes. Final coverage determinations rest with your insurer.
Dispute Resolution
If a dispute arises from services provided under a signed work-authorization agreement, both parties agree to first attempt resolution through direct written communication. If that fails, disputes will be handled in accordance with California law, with venue in Kern County. These terms do not waive any statutory rights you hold as a California consumer.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always available at prorestorationca.com. Continued use of the site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
